Ecology Job Fair for Undergraduates:  Are you looking for an ecology-related job for the summer? Go to the 9th annual Wisconsin Ecology Undergraduate Job Fair to meet representatives from environmental non-profits, ecology-based departments and labs, and local green businesses! Fund for Public Interest: (Graduating Seniors Only)

The Fund for Public Interest is a national non-profit that partners with leading public and environmental interest groups to make a real difference on issues ranging from getting big money out of politics, to reducing global warming pollution. They are currently hiring, and are looking for graduating seniors to take on the Citizens Outreach Director positions. The directors are basically in charge of a group that focuses on one campaign, whether it be for the environment, politics, etc. E-mail  loebs@wisc.edu and tell her you heard about the opportunity through REthink if you are interested.

UW Health Sustainability Internship:

Vitruvian Farms Internship: If you’re all about sustainable, organic, and local agriculture, you’ll want to check out this internship opportunity and what the owners Tommy, Shawn, and Craig have done with the place, which is only 15 minutes south of Madison.   Most of their produce is sold within 15 miles of the farm!  Great people, wonderful produce featured at some of Madison’s best restaurants (Merchant, Graze, Sardine, L’Etoile, Graft, etc.), and growing like crazy–it’s an exciting time to become involved! Click here if you’re interested in the internship and gaining some incredible experience this summer in the local food movement.  Applications are due March 15th.

Voss Organics: Is looking for some motivated part-time (mostly weekends) greenhouse help beginning in mid March and lasting into May. Located 15 minutes by bike from campus, just north of Warner Park Looking for some consistent part-time availability on the weekend from mid March to late May. Beginning with greenhouse work including: mixing soil, filling pots, planting seeds, potting up, labeling. Continuing with field work including: bed preparation, transplanting, mulching, watering. Some limited summer hours available if interested

Finca Mono Verde
(organic farm in Tabuga, Ecuador) is looking for a summer or fall intern to assist with a variety of agricultural and business projects. For more information, visit our postings for summer or fall.

Earth Partnership (environmental program in the UW Arboretum and Latin America) is looking for 2 fall interns, one in the Dominican Republic and one in Nicaragua to help with environmental education projects.
